State Police ID victims of I-390 crash in Wayland that killed 3, injured 11

A van carrying 13 people traveling from Norristown, Pa. to Niagara Falls on a family vacation crashed Saturday in Steuben County, killing a young boy and a pregnant woman and injuring 11 others, New York State Police said.

The woman's baby was delivered at a nearby hospital after the incident, officials said, but later died.

Wayland-based State Police said the crash occurred at approximately 9:20 a.m. on the northbound lane of the I-390 in the Town of Wayland.

Troopers said a rear tire on a 2005 Ford E-350 failed, causing the driver, 41-year-old Adrian Andrade-Delores of Norristown, to lose control of the van.

New York State Police crash Investigators said the vehicle exited the west shoulder of the roadway, entered the median and then rolled multiple times.
