State police say they received report of possible wrong-way driver before crash on I-279

Police say they received a report of a car possibly going the wrong way before a car and a tractor-trailer crashed on Interstate 279 early this morning.

The crash occurred around 2:23 a.m. in Ohio Township near the Camp Horne Road Exit.

Video from a Channel 11 photographer taken after the crash appears to show a male in handcuffs, placed in a state police vehicle.

The car appeared to have been severely damaged. The scene was clear by 3:30 a.m.

Police said no one was injured in the crash.
