State police trooper does magic to entertain kids quarantined at home

A few members of law enforcement are showcasing a bit of magic for those who may need it right now. The New Hampshire State Police started “Friday Fun with NHSP,” in which the officers entertain kids who are home because of COVID-19 through social media. Trooper Richard Perreault worked at a magic shop while in high school and continued to practice even when the store closed down. He's been doing magic for nearly three decades. "It's been fun for me, it's a great outlet, and it's been fun for me for as many years as I've been doing it," Perreault said. Other officers have read books, given tours of their equipment and showed off other talents. "We wanted to do something special to lift their spirits and give them something to look forward to each week," Major John Marasco said.
