State Senate To Vote On Ending Gov. Wolf's Disaster Declaration

On Thursday, the State Senate will vote on whether or not to end Gov. Wolf's pandemic disaster declaration.

- The state senate will vote in the morning on whether to end Governor Wolf's pandemic disaster declaration. However, Senate Majority Leader Kim Ward of Hemfield says senators are working to keep health care measures and some waivers in place for a certain period of time. Yesterday, the House voted to end the declaration. If the senate goes along, the resolution would take effect. It does not, by design, need the governor's approval.
