The Centennial boys soccer team and Las Cruces girls will host Class 5A semifinals this week after each team won quarterfinal games on Friday.

The No. 2 Hawks beat No. 10 Atrisco Heritage 3-2 in overtime thanks to a Saleh Alyones hat trick.

Centennial will host the winner of Saturday's quarterfinal between No. 3 La Cueva and No. 6 Santa Fe in the semifinals at 7 p.m., on Wednesday at the Field of Dreams Soccer Complex.

The No. 2 Las Cruces girls beat No. 10 Santa Fe 4-1 on Friday to advance to the semifinals. The Bulldawgs will play No. 3 Eldorado in the semifinals on Wednesday at 5 p.m., at the Field of Dreams Soccer Complex.

In other boys games, Organ Mountain fell 3-1 at top-seeded Volcano Vista in the quarterfinals on Friday. The Knights beat Sandia 3-0 in the first round.

Santa Teresa will play top-seeded Lovington on Saturday in the Class 4A quarterfinals. Santa Teresa beat Artesia 3-1 in the first round.

In Class A-3A, No. 2 Hatch Valley beat New Mexico Military Institute 3-0 to advance to the semifinals.
