UPDATE: Statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert canceled for 94-year-old man

The Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been canceled.

INITIAL REPORT:

A statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been issued by the Columbus Police Department for a 94-year-old man.

Fred L. Dansby drove away from his residence at 9:30 a.m. Monday morning and has failed to return, according to authorities.

Dansby is described to be 5′08″ tall, weighs 140 lbs., and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black beany, gray overcoat, and gray striped pants tied with a blue medical glove and walks with a cane.

Dansby suffers from dementia, glaucoma, high-blood pressure and sepsis, according to police.

The vehicle involved is a silver 2015 Chevrolet Equinox with OH plate number FD92.

Anyone who sees Dansby or the vehicle involved is asked to call 911.
