'Station, this is Shawn Mendes': ISS gets special Earth Day guest

"It is such an honor to speak with you guys, I feel so giddy and excited right now. I'm so happy and excited to be doing this to help educate young people about our planet right now," Mendes said, before asking what it's like to look at Earth from over 200 miles away.

"I could watch you guys do this all day," Mendes laughed, as an inflated Earth ball floated in front of the astronauts on the space station to celebrate the annual event to raise awareness about the environment.

The astronauts took questions from young viewers and said the view of Earth from space is spectacular.
