'Stay Woke Florida' rolling protest to visit Daytona Beach on Friday. What to expect
The "Stay Woke Rolling Votercade" is officially on the move.
On Friday, the mobile protest — an effort of Florida NAACP branches, Transformative Justice Coalition, Black Voters Matter, American Federation of Teachers, Rainbow Push Coalition and other organizations advocating for marginalized groups — is scheduled to stop in Daytona Beach.
The wheels of the "John Lewis Make Good Trouble Bus" started rolling on Monday, Juneteenth, in Jacksonville.
Stops are scheduled across Florida throughout the week.

When does the John Lewis-inspired bus arrive in Daytona?
The votercade is scheduled to be in Daytona Beach from 2-3:30 p.m. Friday.
During the program, there will be a wreath-laying ceremony in honor of Mary McLeod Bethune at Allen Chapel AME Church, 580 George W. Engram Blvd.
What happens after the votercade departs?
There will be an event at Joe Harris Park, 315 Pearl St., before the John Lewis Make Good Trouble Bus rolls out for St. Augustine.
