Known for hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked rolls and honey cinnamon butter, the national chain is scheduled to open in September at 42-790 Jackson St. between Taco Bell and 24 Hour Fitness.

Here's what you need to know before Texas Roadhouse in Indio opens.

What's on the menu? Plenty of steak options: sirloin, New York strip, filet, porterhouse T-bone, ribeye and prime rib.

You can also order ribs, seafood, country platters and made-from-scratch sides, including mashed potatoes, green beans, rice, steak fries, baked potato and Texas red chili. There's also cold beer and a long list of margaritas.
