The restaurant at the top of Price Tower will reopen as a steakhouse within weeks, Donna Keffer, Price Tower Arts Center executive director, told a group at the weekly forum at Arvest Bank Friday.

She said the restaurant would be called "Sinatras at the Tower," noting it should open within four to six weeks.

"When Sinatras opens back up on 15 and 16 (floors), the bar will also open back up and you'll be able to go up, have a drink and watch the sunset," Keffer said.

She took a few questions from those at the forum and was asked where did the name Sinatras come from.

"Well, I'm not 100% sure, but we have a chef that owns a famous restaurant in California and one of his chefs is going to move here and they decided that Sinatras was going to be the way to go," Keffer said. "It is going to be a steakhouse."

She said the Price Tower owner will update the downstairs restaurant next month, adding that "Chef Nook" would continue to operate that eatery.

Anthony Fischler, owner of Patrick's Roadhouse in Santa Monica, California, and Anthem Blanchard, CEO of Herasoft and husband to Price Tower owner Cynthia Blanchard, were spotted in Bartlesville last week and told a Tulsa news reporter they were in town working on getting the new restaurant up and running.

Fischler is the older brother of actor Patrick Fischler, known for his role as Jimmy Barrett on the drama series Mad Men.

However, Anthem Blanchard later clarified the restaurant wouldn't be called Sinatras because of copyright issues. He said the ownership team had a few other ideas.

The EE reached out to Mike Moran, vice president of marketing with Copper Tree Inc., the ownership company, to find out additional information. He responded the group has "no announcements to make at this time about...the rumored opening of a new restaurant in the Price Tower."

"We understand the importance of keeping our customers and the media informed about our business plans and developments, and we would be happy to provide you with more information as soon as it becomes available," Moran said.

The EE will continue to follow developments and update as more information becomes available.
