Steelcase: Fiscal Q4 Earnings Snapshot

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) _ Steelcase Inc. (SCS) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $6.6 million.

The Grand Rapids, Michigan-based company said it had profit of 6 cents per share.

The office furniture maker posted revenue of $677.1 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $26.1 million, or 22 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $2.6 billion.

For the current quarter ending in June, Steelcase expects its results to range from a loss of 34 cents per share to a loss of 27 cents per share.

Steelcase shares have risen 9% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $14.80, a climb of 56% in the last 12 months.
