Steelers WR Chase Claypool doubles down on his classless take on the Browns

There’s an old saying that goes like this: When you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Apparently that concept is foreign to Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool. After already digging a hole by dissing the Browns team that just ran his Steelers off the field in the wild-card round, Claypool picked up the shovel and went right back at it. In an interview this week, Claypool was asked to clarify his clueless disrespect to the team that smoked his own. The talented young wideout instead kept digging.

The video interview with Canadian broadcast outlet DAZN was captured in part by Bleacher Report. They got right to the good stuff, where Claypool doubles down on his classless, clueless take on the Browns.

Between Claypool and JuJu Smith-Schuster, the Steelers have a couple of wide receivers who live in an alternate reality where they take no responsibility for the Browns beating them down two weeks in a row.
