Stefon Diggs on trash talk with Jaire Alexander: 'I finished it. I got the win'

Stefon Diggs got the last word. He also got the 'W'.

The Buffalo Bills Pro Bowl wide receiver talked trash with the Green Bay Packers secondary before, during and after the game.

"I don't give a f--- who started it. I finished it. I got the win," Diggs said in the postgame press conference following the Bills' 27-17 victory on Sunday Night Football.

The trash talk began before the game, with Diggs following Alexander out of the tunnel as the Packers took the field pregame. The Pro Bowl wide receiver tracked Alexander up the tunnel after warmups and jawed at him while the Packers went into their locker room.

The verbal jabs continued all game. Alexander pushed down on Diggs' helmet during a scrum for a fumble in the first quarter. Diggs had words for Green Bay cornerback Rasul Douglas after he beat him on a double move for a 26-yard touchdown catch. Diggs and Alexander weren't matched up one-on-one often but got into multiple shoving matches.

Diggs had six receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown. He has a touchdown in eight straight games against the Packers. Alexander picked off Josh Allen near the goal line in the fourth quarter on a pass intended for Gabe Davis.

Alexander, a first-round pick by Green Bay in 2018, is the Packers' top cornerback and made the Pro Bowl in 2020. Alexander and Diggs squared off against each other twice in 2018 and 2019 when Diggs was on the Minnesota Vikings.
