In a joint effort to drive youth engagement in science, technology, engineering and math, the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation (CRSF) and ConocoPhillips inaugurated a cutting-edge STEM Center at the Bartlesville Boys & Girls Club on Friday.

"One of the things we're trying to do is develop passions and develop talents that kids have with the hands-on stem activities here." CEO of Bartlesville Boys and Girls Club Jason Barta said. "We want to do everything we can to support and feed kids passions that could turn into a career while keeping it fun and engaging."

Barta says all 200 kids attending the Boys and Girls Club will have the opportunity to use the STEM center and plan to host STEM summer camps.

Bartlesville is joining the over 350 fully operational STEM programs across 20 states operated by the CRSF, which serves approximately 100,000 youth.

The CRSF advocates for children by developing Youth Development Parks and STEM Centers and collaborating with law enforcement and youth service agencies.
