After a rough shooting night against the Los Angeles Lakers that ended with a rare 5-of-21 line from the field, Steph Curry put on a show for the Golden State Warriors home opener against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night.
Curry got to work quickly, exploding in the first quarter for a ridiculous 25 points on 9-of-9 shooting from the field and 5-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc. Behind Curry’s fast start, the Warriors quickly jumped to a 17 point lead in the opening frame.

However, a slow second quarter allowed the Clippers to get back into the game before halftime.

In the second half, Curry got the Warriors back on track, scoring 17 points in the final two frames. With the game tight in the final two minutes, the two-time Most Valuable Player buried a pair of clutch triples, including one jumper from just inside the logo.

With the Warriors holding on for their second straight victory, 115-113, Curry finished the contest with a scorching 45 points on 16-of-25 shooting from the field with eight made 3-pointers.

Curry added another 10 rebounds for a double-double with 10 boards for the second consecutive game. Curry tacked on an assist, steal and a block in 38 minutes.

Below is a look at some of Curry’s highlights from his 45 point run against the Clippers at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Thursday night.
