  • Ayesha Curry's Milly Rock celebratory dance garnered criticism across the internet as the video went viral.

  • In response, husband and Golden State Warriors player Steph Curry clapped back at trolls with his own video.

  • He subtly pumped up his wife's accomplishments and said they'd keep Milly Rocking until the critics can say the same.

With the NBA in its off-season, Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry has plenty of time to chill out with his family—and zero time for internet trolls trying to come for his wife, Ayesha Curry. His clapback was a slam dunk.

It all started when Ayesha opened up her fourth restaurant, International Smoke in Del Mar California. The cookbook author performed the "Milly Rock" dance to celebrate (hello, happy dance), and her dancing video went viral. The internet had so many thoughts about it. Unfortunately, most were quite unflattering and downright mean.

That's when Steph stepped in. He shut them all down with a video shared to his Instagram stories. "Slow news day today, I see, huh?" he said to the camera. "Just make sure y'all send me the video of you dancing at your own restaurant opening. We're gonna keep Milly Rocking till that happens." See what I mean? Slam. Dunk.

Take a look at Ayesha's original Milly Rock dance:

He filmed himself doing a couple dance moves of his own before panning the camera over to Ayesha, who was hiding behind her hand and laughing. From their joking video, it looks like they're not taking the reaction on social media too seriously. As they should, considering the couple still has plenty to be proud of—and celebrate however they wish.

On the court, Steph usually runs the offense, but clearly he's just as comfortable and skilled playing defense.
