Stephanie Williams elected municipal court judge, levies pass

CAMBRIDGE − Guernsey County has elected Stephanie Williams to fill the role of Guernsey County Municipal Court Judge. Williams received 6,975 votes to Myra Scheurer's 3,345, according to unofficial results from the Guernsey County Board of Elections.

"Public service is worth the effort –  even if you fall short on election night. I do appreciate the support and votes of so many in our community," Scheurer said. "Jeff and I are proud of the campaign we have run and our focus on serving the court with honesty, integrity and managing the court’s budget in a fiscally responsible manner. For now I am proud to serve as an assistant city law director and I continue to look forward to a lifelong commitment to continued public service.”
