Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah Mock Sarah Palin After Her Trump Endorsement

Both Late Show host Stephen Colbert and The Daily Show's Trevor Night set their sights on Sarah Palin Wednesday night following her endorsement of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“God, I have missed you,” Colbert said, calling the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate the "original [joke] material girl."

Palin endorsed Trump on Tuesday during a rally in Ames, Iowa.

“It’s like a magical eagle made a wish on a flag pin and it came to life. Which is great. For me," Colbert continued.

The talk show host, who begged Palin to do some of her "greatest [campaign slogan] hits," played portions of Palin's televised Trump endorsement.

“Sarah Palin just guaranteed Trump the evangelical vote because I think she was speaking in tongues," Colbert said. He then did a Palin-like endorsement for the other GOP candidates.

Noah also let loose on Palin for more than seven minutes, saying he enjoyed every moment of her Trump endorsement speech.

"It's like the only thing Sarah Palin hates more than Obama is punctuation," Noah said. "Nobody talks like that. It's almost like she's a malfunctioning robot."

The only aspect Noah said he enjoyed more than Palin talking was Trump standing beside her, listening to the speech.

"Honestly, it reminds me of those old [WWF] wrestling interviews where Macho Man Randy Savage was losing his mind at the camera and the other guy just has to stand there and listen," Noah said. He then played a video of Savage giving an over-the-top interview with footage of Trump transposed beside him.
