Sterling K Brown to reunite with This Is Us creator on new drama series

This Is Us star Sterling K Brown has a very special project on the horizon.
It's been reported by The Wrap that the multi-Emmy Award winner is reuniting with his old boss Dan Fogelman on a "highly secretive" series for Hulu Originals.
As for plot details, there's nothing to work with just yet other than we're back in the drama genre - no surprises there considering Fogelman's work on This Is Us, Only Murders in the Building and Pitch.

While anticipation ramps up for that one, let us take you back to May 2022, when Fogelman discussed Brown's This Is Us character Randall Pearson and that potential presidential run.
"There is no answer of what comes next and you can bring your own knowledge of the character," he said of the show's finale.
"You can decide as the audience like a Choose Your Own Adventure-type novel: Does he ultimately bail, and just say, 'I want to be home with my wife and my kids, and I'm very content in my position as a Senator.' Or do you think he goes all the way?"

Although the writers ultimately went down the 'open ending' route for Randall, they did toy with some whacky possibilities.
"I would be lying if I didn't say there were moments when we discussed the idea of going back in time to Randall getting Tess to go to his mother's deathbed and revisiting that scene and showing him surrounded by Secret Service agents going, 'Eagle is on the move!'" Fogelman revealed.
"We thought it would distract from the television show, and it wasn't the right decision for us, but it was certainly a source of a lot of conversation."
This Is Us aired on NBC in the US, and is available on Prime Video or Disney+ in the UK.
