The stars will align to celebrate America’s late war heroes this Memorial Day.

Steve Buscemi, Gladys Knight, and Alan Jackson are among the many performers and celebrities tapped to take part at this year’s National Memorial Day Concert special on PBS.

The 32nd annual event is normally staged live on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, but due to the pandemic, the presentation will be prerecorded.

Hosted by Tony Award winner Joe Mantegna and Emmy Award winner and humanitarian Gary Sinise, the 90-minute special will air May 30 in honor of men and women in uniform, their families at home and all those who have given their lives for the United States of America.

The concert will also include performances by Motown legends The Four Tops, singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles and country stars Vince Gill and Mickey Guyton.

Buscemi, the Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner, will join fellow actors Kathy Baker and Joe Morton for special tribute segments; a tribute to the nurses of the Vietnam War era, as well as commemorations of the 70th anniversary of the Korean War and the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

The concert, which airs from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. EDT, will also stream on Facebook, YouTube and at PBS.org/national-memorial-day-concert.

“National Memorial Day Concert” will also be available via video-on-demand from May 30 to June 13.
