Steve Gold Just Sold His Former Apartment: "This One Is Bittersweet"

Steve Gold's latest closing was an emotional one. "Yesterday, we closed on unit #23 at the [Zaha Hadid] Residences in NYC. This one is bittersweet as it was my old apartment before I moved to SoHo in January," the Million Dollar Listing New York agent captioned a June 16 Instagram post. "The apartment brought me lots of luck and many amazing memories, which I wish the same for the new owners."

"This is one of 5 units we put into contract in the building in the last 3 months, ranging from $3.8M-$13.95M," he added. "There are only a few units remaining in this amazing condo in West Chelsea before we sell out!" Steve concluded his post by noting he handled both "buyer and seller representation" and the last asking price was $8,850,000.

According to the listing, the 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom apartment has an 800-square-foot great room and 162 feet of exterior space. In the 2019 video above, Steve revealed that he had moved into a 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom apartment in the same building that was "a little over 1,700 square feet."

"The amenity package here is unlike anything I've seen for a boutique building," Steve said in the video as he showed off the 70-foot saline lap pool, spa suite, gym, private and IMAX theater.

In January, Steve shared a glimpse at his moving day as Roadway Moving packed up his apartment. In one adorable snap of his and Luiza Gawlowska's daughter, Rose, Steve quipped, "Roadway Moving didn't realize I had a supervisor on site today for the move."
