Steve Kerr achieves 500th career win

(KRON) – The Golden State Warriors’ victory against the Utah Jazz on Thursday marked a major milestone for head coach Steve Kerr with his 500th career regular season win.
Kerr is in his tenth season as a head coach with four NBA championships (2015, 2017, 2018, 2022) and six NBA appearances (2015-2019, 2022).

Kerr has coached a total of 764 preseason games, making him the fifth in line to accomplish 500 victories in the fewest games. For achieving 500 wins in fewer games, Kerr is behind Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, K.C. Jones, and Gregg Popovich.
The only Warriors coach with more wins is Alvin Attles, who has 557 victories.
Kerr also won Coach of the Year for the 2015-2016 season. He was also named one of the top 15 coaches by the NBA.
