Steven Spielberg has directed his first-ever music video — for Mumford and Sons frontman Marcus Mumford’s new single, “Cannibal.”

Mumford, 35, took to Instagram Monday to commemorate the milestone for the Oscar-winning filmmaker, 75.

“On Sunday 3rd July in a high school gym in New York, Steven Spielberg directed his first music video, in one shot, on his phone,” Mumford captioned some behind-the-scenes snaps. “Kate Capshaw was the almighty doll grip.”

The latter, 68, to whom Spielberg has been married since 1991, also served as producer and art director. Frequent Spielberg collaborator Kristie Macosko Krieger also served as producer and the behind-the-scenes videographer.

“I’ve been overwhelmed by the support of the people around me to bring this music to you, and I cannot hope to express all of my gratitude,” continued Mumford. “When people get it, it blows my mind. Kate and Steven just got it, and I cannot thank them enough.

Mumford noted in the credits of the scaled-down production that wife Carey Mulligan had been responsible for costuming and sound.
