Steven Tyler sued for alleged 1975 sexual assault on teen girl in NYC

Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler is being sued over a pair of incidents from 1975 in which he’s accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in New York City.

It marks the second such legal action taken against the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, who was previously sued for sexual assault in 2022, relating to his relationship with a 16-year-old girl, also in the ’70s.

The accuser, Jeanne Bellino, claims in the lawsuit filed Thursday that Tyler forcibly pinned her inside a phone booth on Sixth Ave., stuck his tongue down her throat and groped her.

He then began “humping her pretending to have sex,” according to court documents reviewed by TMZ and People.

“As they walked, [Bellino] commented about a song lyric to Tyler,” the documents said. “Tyler became visibly irritated by [Bellino’s] question, then suddenly Tyler grabbed [Bellino] by the hand and forced her into a phone booth.”

She added that Tyler allegedly simulated sex with an erect penis during the incident and claims that it was her first sexual experience.

Bellino said she was a model at the time and was in the city to attend a fashion show when a friend arranged for them to attend a party with Aerosmith.

Despite being “dazed, confused and shocked” by the experience, Bellino said she followed the group to a nearby hotel because she was reliant on her friend for transportation.

But once they were inside the hotel room, she says Tyler assaulted her for a second time in similar fashion, groping and humping her while clothed and putting his tongue down her throat.

The woman, now in her 60’s, claims she still requires medication “to cope with the sexual assault and has suffered long-term physical injury associated with the trauma.”

The lawsuit, 50 years after the inciting incident, was made possible when New York state law was amended in Nov. 2022 to eliminate the statute of limitations for certain sexual offenses.

Bellino said she’s coming forward with her story now to support Julia Misley, Tyler’s other accuser, and to challenge those in the industry who she believes enabled his actions.
