Stevens Disposal employee struck by car
A 30-year-old male employee of Stevens Disposal is at ProMedica Toledo Hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries he suffered when he was struck by a car while on the job in Dundee Township last week.
The incident occurred on September 15 at approximately 7 a.m., in Dundee Township on West Lloyd Rd. near US-23, according to a press release issued Wednesday by the Michigan State Police Monroe Post.
The pedestrian, a Lambertville resident, reportedly walked out into oncoming traffic lane and was struck by an approaching vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing and neither speed, drugs, nor alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash.Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Trooper Dayfield of the Monroe Post at 734-242-3500.
