Still need a Peach Bowl ticket? Passes for Penn State’s game are available but pricey

Although tickets for Penn State football’s postseason matchup are sold out, Nittany Lions fans can still get into the big game if they’re willing to pay a pretty penny on the secondary market.

No. 10 Penn State will face No. 11 Ole Miss in the 2023 Peach Bowl at noon Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The game, one of the coveted New Year’s Six bowls, will air on ESPN.

Regardless of the outcome, the Nittany Lions’ clash with the Rebels promises to be an exciting finale for Penn State’s 2023 season. As such, the biggest fans might hope to flock down to Georgia to catch the game in person.

If a road trip to Atlanta is calling your name, options are available thanks to an expansive (and expensive) price range on the resale market.

Last-minute ticket prices for Penn State-Ole Miss

The Centre Daily Times has rounded up a list of last-minute ticket options for Penn State’s game against Ole Miss. As of Dec. 28, these price ranges reflect face-value tickets available through several leading industry vendors. Taxes and fees are not included in the following estimates.

  • StubHub: Single tickets range from roughly $80 to $584

  • SeatGeek: Single tickets range from about $68 to $868

  • Vivid Seats: Single tickets range from approximately $73 to $583

  • Ticketmaster: Single tickets range from roughly $79 to $672

  • TickPick: Single tickets range from about $92 to $314

  • Gametime: Single tickets range from approximately $64 to $615

Tickets are no longer available for purchase directly through the Penn State or Ole Miss athletic departments. The Peach Bowl says the game is already sold out, marking the 24th sellout in the last 27 games.

Face-value tickets were once available for sale directly through Ticketmaster, which uses a dynamic pricing model that produces higher rates for more anticipated events and better seats. Tickets now offered through Ticketmaster are being sold on the secondary market. Expect tickets on the secondary market to exceed market value, the Peach Bowl says.

Penn State vs. Ole Miss: Final thoughts on how the Nittany Lions can build momentum for 2024

Both Penn State and Ole Miss enter the 2023 Peach Bowl with 10-2 regular-season records. The game will mark the first meeting between the two programs.

Penn State has never played in a Peach Bowl game. Should the Nittany Lions win, Penn State would become the first program in college football history to win every bowl game within the New Year’s Six. The unofficial but commonly used term describes the marquee bowl games played around New Year’s Day: the Peach Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl and Rose Bowl, which the Nittany Lions won last season.

Penn State is 4-4 in bowl games under head coach James Franklin. Notably, the Nittany Lions are 3-1 in New Year’s Six bowls during Franklin’s tenure.
