Stingel Elementary shines at Third Grade Spelling Bee

Three students from Ontario's Stingel Elementary took top honors in the Mansfield-Richland County Third Grade Spelling Bee held Feb. 12 at Madison Middle School.

Taking the crown was Stingel's Evelyn Lee, while Kai Grassick finished second and Margot Bibble was third.

Students from Eastview Elementary (Madison), Madison South, Saint Mary of the Snows Catholic School, St. Peter's Elementary, Richland School of Academic Arts and Stingel Elementary competed in the spelling bee.

This was the eighth year for event and third year it was hosted by Madison Middle School. Linda Burrage is the spelling bee coordinator.
