Stockton instructors recall President Joe Biden's 1978 Delta College visit

In 1978, San Joaquin Delta College students were fighting for ethnic studies. Earlier in the decade, the voting age had been lowered to 18-years-old and the nation had been reeling after the end of the Vietnam War. In March of that year, the youngest U.S. Senator met with instructors and students and shared his view of modern politics during that time. Then-Senator of Delaware, Joe Biden, visited San Joaquin Delta College. Instructors who were there recalled Biden's visit in front of a packed auditorium. See more in the video above.
