Stolen Front Loader Flipped by Another Front Loader During Georgia Police Chase

A disgruntled former employee who sparked a slow speed police chase after allegedly stealing a front loader, was intercepted by another front loader, dramatic dash cam footage from March 23 shows.

38-year-old Eddie Sanchez was charged with a slew of offences including fleeing, reckless driving and criminal damage to property, after commandeering the 75,000 pound machine and taking it to the streets of Norcross.

The footage released by Gwinnett County Police shows a responding officer trying to stop the suspect from driving the stolen machine around the Corley Road site, before tailing the slow-moving vehicle onto the main road.

Police said a joint force of local officers stopped traffic and pursued the mammoth vehicle, while the initial responding officer returned to the business to enlist the help of another front loader to intercept the suspect.

The pursuing front loader can be seen catching up to the suspect before squaring up to the stolen front loader in the middle of the road, with officers spurring it on, with shouts of “Flip it! Flip it!”

Armed police are finally seen yanking the suspect out of the cab of the tilted front loader before placing him under arrest.

Sanchez was evaluated at a local hospital prior to being book at Gwinnett County Jail, police said, adding that no other motorists were injured during the “unbelievable” pursuit. Credit: Gwinnett County Police via Storyful
