Men’s Wearhouse just opened a new location in Gastonia.

On Thursday, Jan. 25, the menswear and rental retailer hosted a ribbon cutting to kick off opening day at 3726 E. Franklin Blvd., Unit 220.

According to a press release, the Franklin Square location marks 637 locations across the country.

“The new, more than 5,500-square-foot store will bring Men’s Wearhouse’s broad array of tailored clothing, sportswear and rental attire to the Gastonia community, catering to each of life’s best-dressed moments,” the release said.

Men’s Wearhouse said they will offer a range of extended-sizing options and fits for every body in an effort to ensure shoppers can, “find the look they want, and love the way they look and feel, too.”

The store also welcomed special guests at the ceremony from partner organizations Fisher House and Stop Soldier Suicide.

In November 2023, the company donated more than $6 million from Men’s Wearhouse customer contributions to U.S. Veteran non-profits.

“We are eager to bring our premier quality of service to the city of Gastonia as part of our continued expansion,” said John Tighe, president of Tailored Brands. “As a community that has experienced tremendous growth in the last decade, we look forward to providing our trademark personal and innovative retail experience to the customers of Gastonia.”
