Enterprise Elementary School is a great school and I love going to school each day. My name is Sayde Cohen and I am in the third grade. Sometimes my four siblings and I get to make gingerbread houses.

I study hard so I graduate from high school and can go on to college. Because I like being around animals and helping them, I would like to learn more about all kinds of animals and become a veterinarian when I get older. I will study for it when I am in college.

KidsZone is fun and I enjoy attending each of our meetings. My favorite subject is reading and KidsZone has many chapter books available for us to read and take home. I always like to get books for presents. Maybe I will get some for Christmas.

Another great thing about Food Brings Hope is the food bags and the power snacks we receive from them at each meeting. Thanks to Food Brings Hope!

About this series: The FBH Community’s mission is to foster community organizations that proactively work to eradicate the causes of generational poverty. Programs such as Food Brings Hope, VCan, Pierson Family Literacy, Homes Bring Hope and the FBH Prosperity Initiative help hardworking families struggling with hunger, housing insecurity, underemployment and low levels of literacy. Overhead is covered by the Hosseini Family Foundation, so 100% of donations go directly to the programs and families. Throughout the holidays, The News-Journal is highlighting the organization by publishing the stories of some of its young participants. To donate to the organization, or to brighten the holidays by donating a gift to a child, email info@fbhcommunity.org.
