Winter is coming

Computer models continue to "boost confidence" that Southern New England will get hit with "a high impact winter storm" Saturday, the National Weather Service says. The storm could bring a foot or more of snow and blizzard conditions to the region, according to AccuWeather. Looks like we'd better get those shovels ready.

Sports

First up in today's local sports news: the 2021 boys cross-country All-Scholastics team. Boys cross-country teams in the Greater Taunton area had some seasons to remember, and Gazette Sports Reporter Cameron Merritt has the highlights right here.

In basketball news, the Taunton girls basketball team's losing skid is no more.
