Storm Updates: Maine hunkers down under a blanket of snow

Durham: 6.4 inches
SE Poland: 5.7 inches
Lisbon: 5.5 inches
E. Lewiston: 5 inches
Auburn: 4.7 inches
Turner: 3.8 inches
E New Sharon: 5 inches
Madrid: 4 inches
SW New Vineyard: 4 inches
NW Rangeley : 4 inches
Temple: 4 inches
Bethel: 7.5 inches
Hartford: 6 inches
Oxford: 6 inches
NW Sumner: 5.7 inches
Andover: 5.5 inches

— At least we have electricity. Central Maine Power is reporting 1,796 outages so far — mostly in York County. None at the moment locally.
— The heaviest amount of snow should be done by 9 a.m. Friday but light snowfall will add a couple more inches throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.

Crashes have been reported Friday morning on the Maine Turnpike and southern Maine roads. The Maine Emergency Management warns this evening's commute could be slick too.
