Storms and active lightning continue across Central Florida Saturday night

Saturday storms continue through the evening.

5 p.m. Update:

Scattered rain and lightning will continue into the Saturday evening. Conditions will gradually taper off but we will keep a slight chance for a lingering shower in the forecast through midnight.

Overnight and into Sunday morning, things look quiet, with Sunday’s temperatures climbing back to the low 90s.

Sunday afternoon will bring another round of quickly passing showers and lightning.

Saturday will see widely scattered showers and storms moving into our area by early afternoon.

Isolated downpours, active lightning and gusty winds will be possible again on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the clouds and rain will keep our temperature a little cooler today.
