Strafford Wind Symphony to perform All-American Pops! concert in Sanford

SANFORD - Sanford Performing Arts Center will present the Strafford Wind Symphony’s All-American Pops! concert on Saturday, July 16 at 4 p.m. The performance will be held on the main stage located at 100 Alumni Blvd. on the Sanford High School campus.

The performance is jam-packed with favorite patriotic selections such as "America the Beautiful," "Stars and Stripes Forever," "Armed Forces Salute," and many more! The vast program also includes tunes from popular musicals, including "West Side Story," "Fiddler on the Roof," "Les Misérables," and "The Music Man."

“Strafford Wind Symphony is definitely a fan favorite,” SPAC Director Brett Williams said. “The ensemble has earned standing ovations every time they have performed on our stage. The musicianship is first-rate and the program is full of recognizable favorites. All-American Pops is going to be a spectacular show!”

The Strafford Wind Symphony has inspired audiences across the Seacoast region for over 30 years, and has presented several outstanding performances at the SPAC since its opening in 2019. The ensemble is comprised of music professionals and non-professionals of all ages and walks of life. Their performances support the history and heritage of the American Community Band.
