Highlights from their trip include a road trip around Iceland’s Ring Road, exploring the Golden Circle and lounging in the Blue Lagoon.

According to a press release from the Straits Area Audubon Society, Iceland is commonly described as the land of fire (volcanism) and ice (glaciers). It is famous for stunning scenery, abundant bird life, fascinating geology and an interesting culture. Iceland is also home to around 200 volcanoes and has one-third of Earth’s total lava flow.
