Streaker Removed From MetLife Stadium During XFL Opening Weekend

A somewhat modest streaker wasn’t put off by the chilly temperatures at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on February 9, as he marked the opening game of the new XFL season in style, before being tackled by security.

Footage shared to Twitter shows a man wearing just his underwear being pinned to the ground by security personnel at the East Rutherford stadium during the New York Guardians’ game against the Tampa Bay Vipers.

The weekend was the first presentation of the new brand of football, billed as a “fan-first” alternative to the NFL.
