From Esquire

Netflix is drama this month. You want space missions? We got space missions. You want niche Qing Dynasty films that lend themselves to Oscar-bait? We got that, too. You want to cry over lifelong love or the new sense of style that ultimately contributes to an increased sense of self-worth and acceptance? Got all those things! The lineup for Netflix's big March reveal is strong, so check out the 10 we recommend and keep scrolling for the list, in its entirety.

Apollo 13 (March 1)

It's a Tom Hanks-heavy slate, with Apollo 13 being the first of his offerings. Bill Paxton and Kevin Bacon flank Hanks in the dramatic retelling of the America's ill-fated third attempt to the moon.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (March 1)

The 2000 film about Qing Dynasty China was one of the most raved about films of the year and for good reason. The Ang Lee-directed film is well worth your time and will land on Netflix on March 1.

Saving Mr. Banks (March 1)

Following the thoughtful story that eventually turned into Mary Poppins, the tale between Walt Disney (Tom Hanks) and P.L. Travers (Emma Thompson) will put a smile on your face that even a spoon full of sugar couldn't.

The Hurt Locker (March 1)

We're still laughing because this is the movie that Kathryn Bigelow beat her ex-husband James Cameron for Best Director. LOL, Avatar.

The Notebook (March 1)

It's the overwrought romantic drama of our time. The Nicholas Spark classic comes to Netflix to show that some love stories can surpass death (SPOILER, sorry). Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are perfect in this sleepy North Carolina romance.

Wet Hot American Summer (March 1)

The cult classic returns to Netflix! To be clear, this is the film that spawned the eventual Netflix series, but trust us: this is even better. Get in with the cult status.

Winter's Bone (March 1)

This is one of Jennifer Lawrence's earliest performances and the one that landed her an Oscar nomination before she was a household name. Following a girl who becomes a caretaker for her brother and sister, Winter's Bone is a timely tale of crime in the Ozarks.

Doubt (March 7)

I have such doubts. The Meryl Streep-led film features a powerhouse cast with Amy Adams, Viola Davis, and Philip Seymour Hoffman in tow. The mid-century Catholic tale of a boy who may or may not have been sexually abused will leaving you guessing what side you should be on.

Blue Jasmine (March 8)

Featuring Cate Blanchett in her second Oscar-winning role, Blue Jasmine is your typical Sony Pictures Classics film: artsy, high-end, and a perfect tale of the human condition.

Queer Eye: Season 3 (March 15)

The boys are back in town. After a back to back Seasons One and Two, the guys have traveled to an entirely new location to bring the joys of the French tuck, good avocados, and tearful storylines to middle America.
