While she did so, a 26-year-old man riding a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle east on Colonial in the left lane racing a white BMW, Montes said.

Three different witnesses confirmed the motorcycle was racing the BMW. One witness offered the FHP a dashcam video showing the race.

The front of the Suzuki struck the bicycle, injuring both riders. They were both taken to the hospital. The woman died later that day, Montes said.

The BMW left the crash, and troopers are still looking for it.
