Fans of Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch and the rest of the Sesame Street gang will soon be able to purchase toys and collectibles right in the neighborhood.
Sesame Place in Middletown will open a flagship theme store this fall, just in time for the holiday season. No tickets to the park will be needed to shop.
Sesame Place Store offers largest collection of toys, collectibles
Not only will fans be able to pick up plush toys from the marquee characters, Sesame Place Store will also offer select items based on nostalgic Muppet characters such as Dinger, Guy Smiley, Honker, Murray Monster, Snuffy and others.
The Sesame Place Store will be the largest store dedicated solely to Sesame Street-themed merchandise in the United States.

The 6,800-square-foot store will also carry a wide array of merchandise, souvenirs and mementos. Sesame Place Store will also carry exclusive holiday-theme character-based novelties.

When the Sesame Place Store opens this fall, it will serve as a capstone for the renovation of the entry plaza, which also will be unveiled then.

The new entry experience will celebrate Sesame Place's roots through architecture and scenic details inspired by locations in Philadelphia and New York, transporting guests from the roads of Pennsylvania into the world of Sesame Street, officials said.
