The ‘stress’ of her tax case is over. Now Shakira’s back in Miami checking out art

A few weeks after settling her years long, drawn out tax case in Spain, Shakira was back on the scene in the 305.

The Colombiana was spotted checking out the works at an Art Basel VIP preview at the Miami Beach Convention Center on Wednesday.

Paparazzi pictures show Shak dressed for the cooler weather in a dark long sleeved top, slacks, platform boots — and smiling. And why not? She no longer has hellacious legal problems looming over her.

Late last month, just as proceedings were about to begin in Barcelona, the mom of two struck a deal with prosecutors, paying a $7.6 million fine and receiving a suspended three-year sentence.

In her lengthy statement, the pop star, who maintains her innocence, said she did so that her children don’t see her “sacrifice her personal well-being.”

“I need to move past the stress and emotional toll of the last several years and focus on the things I love,” her statement added.

Those things may include buying a new piece of art for her Miami digs.

Spies told Page Six that the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer was intently looking at a rhinestone-studded portrait by New Jersey artist Mickalene Thomas called “High Priestess” at Levy Gorvy Dayan’s gallery booth.

Price tag? $500,000. But it reportedly had already sold.

Art Basel runs through Sunday. We’re sure Shak will be able to find something else.
