"Come and see us in 'An Audience with Dame Arlene Phillips and Anton Du Beke' at Prestonfield House Hotel, next Wednesday 23rd August at 7pm. Unmissable!!" the star added, admitting he was "so excited" about the reunion.

Anton, who was previously a professional on Strictly from its inception, joined the judging panel for the show in 2021, replacing Bruno Tonioli. Arlene was a judge on the show from its first series up until 2008.

Meanwhile, Anton recently received praise after bravely opening up about being violently injured by his alcoholic father as a child, telling Kate Garraway's Life Stories: "I got stabbed, I've never said this out loud before.

"I got stabbed in the leg and in the stomach because of a fight on Boxing Day and it was an idiotic situation. I remember walking out of the house to walk up to the hospital holding my leg and a police car drove past. I waved them down and I said, 'He's in there with a knife'."

Anton added: "Anyway, they carted him off and I ended up in hospital for three or four days."

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
