Strictly Come Dancing star Alexandra Burke has announced she is expecting her first child with footballer Darren Randolph.

The former X Factor winner gave fans a first glimpse of her baby bump in a video posted today (February 14). The video captures fragments of Burke and Randolph's daily life together, before revealing Burke cradling her bump whilst the West Ham goalkeeper kisses it.

The couple also revealed when the new arrival is expected, captioning the post "Due June 2022".

Meanwhile, Burke has opened up on her experience with racism in the music industry, particularly in relation to her 2008 X Factor win.

"When I first won The X Factor I got told 'you are going to work 10 times harder because of the colour of your skin. You can't have braids, you can't have an afro... you have to have hair that appeals to white people, so people can understand you better'. I was only 19 years old," Burke said in an Instagram video.

"I got told to bleach my skin, and that was something I refused to do, it is absurd to think someone could say 'you need to bleach your skin'. Still to this moment it breaks my heart that I was told to do that."
