Strictly confirms week 3 songs and dances

Strictly Come Dancing has confirmed the song titles and dances that the pairings will perform in week three of the competition.

This weekend is Movie Week, and Saturday's show will feature the first Rumba, American Smooth and Couple's Choice routines of the series.

Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola will tackle the Viennese Waltz to 'Waiting on a Miracle' from Disney's Encanto.

Bad Education actor Layton Williams and his professional partner Nikita Kuzmin, who topped the leaderboard last week, are also taking to the floor with a Viennese Waltz to 'There Are Worse Things I Could Do' from Grease.

Tennis star Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe will be having Breakfast at Tiffany's as they Waltz to 'Moon River.'

Hoping to bring the party with their Samba are EastEnders' Bobby Brazier and pro partner Dianne Buswell, who will be dancing to 'Young Hearts Run Free' from Romeo and Juliet.

Audiences will see two Charlestons on the Strictly dance floor this Saturday, courtesy of TV presenter Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu, plus Channel 4 News presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy and professional Lauren Oakley.

Angela and Carlos will be swivelling to 'Who's Got the Pain' from Damn Yankees, while Krishnan and Lauren will perform their Charleston to 'Money Money' from the iconic Caberet.

BBC Asian Network DJ Nikita Kanda and pro dancer Gorka Márquez are one of three couples to take on the Jive, with their routine set to 'Kids in America' from chick flick Clueless.

Broadcaster Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington, who wowed viewers with their Cha Cha Cha in week one, will be hoping to impress with a Quickstep this week. Their ballroom routine will be set in the Austrian countryside to 'Do-Re-Mi' from The Sound of Music.

Casualty actor Nigel Harman and his professional partner Katya Jones, who topped the leaderboard in week one with their Paso Doble, will be channeling his inner Batman as they Jive to the movie's iconic theme tune.

Soap star Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk are the third pairing who will be jiving around the floor, dancing to 'Take on Me' from the Super Mario Bros Movie.

Love Island star Zara McDermott and pro dancer Graziano Di Prima will be bringing the drama with a Paso Doble to 'The Puss Suite' from Puss in Boots.

Also bringing drama to their performance will be Sherlock's Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice as they take on the first Rumba of the series to 'Out of Reach' from Bridget Jones's Diary.

Paralympian Jody Cundy and reigning Strictly pro champion Jowita Przystał will be out to impress with the first American Smooth to 'Married Life' from Up.

Comedian Eddie Kadi and the series' longest serving pro Karen Hauer will be rounding off the weekend of firsts with a Couples Choice routine to the 'Men in Black' theme tune from the iconic action film series.

Last weekend, Les Dennis and Nancy Xu became the first couple to leave the show, after losing the dance-off to Nikita Kanda and Gorka Márquez.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
