Strictly Come Dancing finalists Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin aren't ready to go their separate ways just yet.

Fresh from a 13-week stint in the BBC ballroom, where they ultimately finished as runners-up behind Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola in the competition, the duo have now organised a number of one-off charitable dance classes starting next month.

At 9am on Saturday, 20 January, 'Dance with Lakita' opens at Birmingham Repertory Theatre for people aged 18+.

For a 90-minute session, you'll be charged £50 plus a £1.50 booking fee on TicketTailor, while £1 per ticket will be donated to Acting for Others Charity.

Straight after at 10:30am that day, those aged 7-17 are invited to participate.

A week later on Saturday, 27 January, it's rinse and repeat at Glasgow's Kelvinside Academy.

Then, Layton and Nikita's third and final weekend classes take place on Saturday, 3 February in Manchester, with the venue still yet to be announced.

It's been a strange last few months for the Bad Education actor, who impressed the Strictly judges week in week out, but found himself on the receiving end of some really harsh criticism from the outside world due to his background in dance.

Esther Rantzen, who competed on the show almost two decades ago, argued: "A professional dancer like the brilliant Layton Williams should never be given a role as a contestant in Strictly. It's unfair to all the others, and to the viewers.

"As an ardent fan of the programme (and an unsuccessful contestant in series two – my deepest sympathy to my dance partner, Anton) I wonder why the production team seems to have lost the plot this year by recruiting Williams."

However, former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips flipped the script and urged viewers to enjoy his skills.
