Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has confirmed she’ll soon be back on screens as the hit BBC dance contest returns this autumn.

Having been away from work in recent weeks after the birth of her daughter, fans were worried Manrara would miss out on hosting Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two this year.

However, setting the record straight, Manrara has now reassured fans she’ll be returning to her presenting duties alongside her new co-host Fleur East.

Chatting to Strictly fans during a Q&A session on her Instagram Stories, Manrara shared an update on her return-to-work plans.

"Yes, I am back," she confirmed, after being asked if she’ll be returning to It Takes Two. "I guess there wasn't a huge official announcement, but yeah, I'm back!

"Luckily, I had more than enough time on maternity leave with Lyra for me to be able to come back and do the show."

Manrara went on to share her excitement to be working alongside former Strictly star Fleur East on the show.

East was announced as a new It Takes Two presenter earlier this year, following on from the departure of previous host Rylan Clark.

"I will be on the couch along with Fleur interviewing all of your couples and I can’t wait actually," Manrara enthused. "I literally can’t wait.

"It was such an amazing year last year, but I feel like every year is just as great."
