Former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse has revealed that dancing partly triggered pregnancy nausea for her.

The dancer and Dancing on Ice judge revealed the happy news that she is expecting a baby with husband Marius Iepure last week on her ITV show Oti Mabuse's Breakfast Show.

Oti has now opened up a bit about the pregnancy in a new Instagram post, sharing a clip of her working out in the gym as she reflected on her fitness regime.

"I actually do enjoy working out lately again," the star captioned the post. "In the beginning it was the one thing along with dancing that would cause my nausea so I stayed away for the longest of time.

"This obviously was a huge adjustment for my body, mental health and stamina and came with with another huge but beautiful life lesson," she continued. "I am creating a humanbeing and whatever my body needs I should listen to it.

"But now that I can walk, run, lift weights again… im excited to get active again. And this new ass… OH MY DAYS I love it #pregnancyworkout #workout".

Taking to Instagram last week after she shared the happy baby news, Oti said: "Our 'yes' year is getting better and better and so is our little family.

"We feel finally ready and excited to share our wonderful news. This is new for us, scarier than swimming with sharks, jumping off cliffs or even swinging from bridges but the best news we could have ever asked for."

Oti and fellow dancer Marius have been married since 2014.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
