Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse is soon set to take on a new TV job as she’s landed her very own morning chat show.

Oti Mabuse’s Breakfast Show is set to arrive on ITV with its first hour-long episode on Saturday April 15.

Teasing ahead to the upcoming production, the Dancing on Ice judge confessed her new presenting gig feels like a "dream" job.

Chatting in an interview on Friday’s (April 14) instalment of This Morning, Mabuse shared her excitement for her new early morning breakfast show and revealed what viewers can expect.

"This show for me has been a dream," she remarked. "Honestly, it’s one of those shows where you go 'one day when I’m done with this dancing this is what I’d really love to do'.

"I wanted it to be about positivity, I wanted to have open conversations, things that I love. I love being on my phone and on the internet, but looking at the positive stuff and talking about upcoming shows.

"So, it’s a mixture of a lot of things… and cooking, because I’m terrible at it. This is my way, selfishly, of learning how to cook."

"I want people to watch it on a Saturday morning and feel like it’s setting them up for a good day that they’re going to have for the rest of the day," Mabuse enthused. "It’s just light, it’s only one hour and it’s fun."

Mabuse’s new breakfast show is also set to see her joined by a variety of celebrity guests each week.

Teasing ahead to which famous faces are set to feature on the show, she revealed Coronation Street, Hollyoaks and former Strictly star Katie McGlynn will appear in the first episode alongside former EastEnders actress Rita Simons.

Oti Mabuse's Breakfast Show airs Saturdays at 8:30am on ITV1 and ITVX.

This Morning airs on weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
