A string of robberies at four Columbus businesses in one night ends in arrest

A juvenile has been arrested after robbing four Columbus businesses in a single night, according to Columbus police.

Police say the juvenile is being charged for a string of armed robberies that occurred between 7 and 8 p.m., Tuesday, in the Victory Drive area.

The juvenile displayed a handgun at these locations, demanded money and received an undisclosed amount of cash, according to officials. CPD says two fake handguns were found in his possession.

The businesses affected are:

  • Vallarta Mexican Grill on Ft. Benning Road

  • Little Caesars on Victory Drive

  • Columbus Crab House on Victory Drive

  • Walmart Gas station on Victory Drive

The juvenile also robbed one individual around the 3900 block of Victory Drive and attempted to rob a Dollar General on Victory Drive during his crime spree, according to CPD.

Police say the juvenile was transported to the Columbus Youth Detention Center and charged with five counts of Armed Robbery and one count of Criminal Attempt Armed Robbery.
