Strong Wind Blows Snow Back Up Mountain in Alberta

A storm chaser in Kananaskis, Alberta, was out for a walk with his dog in windy conditions on February 21 when he spotted snow appearing to be blown back up the face of Mount Kidd.

Speaking to Storyful, Kananaskis resident Tom Graham said he noticed a small avalanche falling down the mountainside.

“I was amazed to watch it being blown back up the cliff and decided to take video of it,” he said. “According to the local weather station there had been wind gust of up to 180 km per hour on this day.” Credit: Tom Graham via Storyful
